Edge Evolve has launched a channel company, Edge Channel, as an effective, independent sales channel for all the local software solutions developed by the various companies within the Edge Evolve group.
Ultimately, Edge Channel will act as a catalyst to ensure the success of its partners and their clients. It has therefore developed a unique channel partner programme designed to support a multitude of business models.
More than simply providing products, Edge Channel extends the scope of the traditional distributor by adding more value to its partners and their customers. It does this by assisting partners in defining target markets, packaging products and creating marketing collateral.
Furthermore, Edge Channel also provides sales training to resellers and facilitates the training of end users when required. The company will additionally provide pre-sales as well as lead-generation functions to resellers.
To add further value, Edge Channel will establish and manage user groups for the individual products it represents.
The products initially on offer from Edge Channel will be:
- Project Assist, a Wed-based project management and tracking tool, that comprehensively manages the whole process of quotation, project planning and management, time capture and approval procedures, as well as passing the information through to billing.
- Data Assist, a multi-platform business intelligence tool with a reporting information repository;
- Mobile Assist, a bulk SMS application that allows recipients to respond via SMS and for the responses to be easily collected and collated;
- Document Assist, an easy to use document management system that allows companies to keep accurate track of records and avoid panic stations when legally required to produce an archived document;
- Call Centre Assist, an effective system to monitor call centre operations without hindering staff from completing their tasks.
All these products form part of the Edge Business Service Centre, a collection of tightly integrated technologies developed locally by EdgeTMI. Each product can be used individually, in combination with other products, or they can be installed as a completely integrated business solution.
The software Edge Channel is distributing matches the functionality of similar systems developed internationally, but comes in at a lower price point. Additionally, since only local software is distributed, developers are always on hand to customise products and create additional functionality almost immediately.
